I grew up at my dad’s “benzena”, Arabic for gas station. It was here that I saw the dedication and hope that turning a gas station into an auto empire requires. I wanted to honor the first entrepreneurial venture in our family by paying homage to my dad with the name, petrol station vintage. I learned first hand what it takes to be “self-made” and what the immigrant experience is like: making our own version of the American dream.
